Environment by Heather Heron Announces New Vintage Army Handbag Collection
Heather Heron, in partnership with Environment Furniture, is excited to announce the new Heather Heron Vintage Army Handbag Collection. The five piece collection, designed and built from one style of vintage army bag, is made locally in California by skilled artisans. The collection ranges from $65 - $210.
Known for her chic, modern and sustainable pieces, Heather Heron’s designs bridge luxury and responsibility. As the first lifestyle line to be housed under the Environment label, Heron uses vintage U.S. military, organically tanned leather, surplus Japanese denim, Japanese antique textiles and Heron's signature fabric - organic hemp textiles in all of her creations. The current line include organic throws, hand knotted beach blankets, travel bags, accessories for men and women, organic hand dyed scarves, and surf bags from reclaimed vintage military. A celebrity favorite, you can see Heron’s collection on the arms of Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alanis Morissette, Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell to name a few.
The new Vintage Army Handbag Collection includes:
· California Street Laptop Sleeve
· The Razorblades Fold Over Clutch
· Ghost Tree Pleated Clutch
· Swami’s Bucket Bag
· County Line Shoulder Bag
“My inspiration for the collection was to take a simple thing of beauty that already exists on the planet and design a collection from its roots,” says designer Heather Heron.
