There many simple steps you can take every day to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses released daily.
- Adjust your heating and cooling settings. Turning the thermostat up in the summer or down in the winter by just two degrees can produce one hundred pounds less of carbon dioxide than you would without changing the temperature.
- Close doors to rooms that are not in use to save on energy, and make sure to insulate windows and doors.
- When you’re not using your electronics, unplug them to save energy.
